Duluth Area Fisheries

I go to school full time at the University of Minnesota Duluth. The last few summers I have spent at internships in the Minneapolis metro region, but this coming summer will be spent in Duluth. I look forward to getting into the summer bite on a lot of these lakes, as this will be my first summer spent full time in the Arrowhead region.

St. Louis River Estuary

The fisheries within a short drive of Duluth that I will specifically make a point to highlight are:

• St. Louis River & Estuary
• Lake Superior
• Island Lake
• Fish Lake
• Caribou Lake
• Rice Lake 

I have a bit of experience with both the St. Louis River and Fish Lake Reservoir, and I hope to expand that more this coming spring and summer!
